Meet your captains: David & Stacey Wiggins

David Wiggins

David has been a Coast Guard licensed captain for over 30 years. After decades of power boating and fishing, he decided to slow things down with sailing. He earned a B.S. in biology from the University of West Florida and spent the majority of his career as a shellfish specialist.

Stacey Wiggins

Stacey is a thalassophile (one who loves the sea). She earned a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of Alabama and M.S. and Ph.D. in oceanography from the University of Connecticut. She is a Coast Guard licensed captain and a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher. She spent her career as a research biologist and science advisor for seafood safety.
